Chicken legs are an affordable and relatively inexpensive product from which you can prepare a variety of delicious dishes. We are sharing with you an interesting recipe for Mexican cuisine that can decorate both an everyday table and a festive one.
- Chicken drumstick 8 pcs.
- Sea salt and black pepper taste
- Olive oil 3 tbsp. l.
- Onion Powder¼ h. L.
- Spicy sauce3 tbsp. l.
- Tomato paste 80 g
- Dates6 pcs.
- Not hot mustard½ tbsp. l.
- Apple vinegar 2 tbsp. l.
- Garlic Powder ½ tsp
- Paprika ½ tsp
- Parsleyfor decoration
Rinse chicken legs thoroughly under water. Transfer them to a large bowl and sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper and onion powder.
Put the grill pan on a preheat, after sprinkling its surface with olive oil. Transfer the prepared chicken drumsticks to the pan and fry for 15-20 minutes. Periodically, the chicken needs to be turned over to prevent it from burning.
While the chicken is fried, you can start making the sauce. To do this, move the hot sauce, tomato paste, chopped dates, mustard, apple cider vinegar and paprika to a blender, and then mix well until smooth.
The texture of the finished chicken leg sauce should be smooth and viscous.
Once the chicken drumsticks are fried, cover them generously with the resulting spicy and slightly tangy sauce.
Before serving, put lettuce leaves in a presentation plate, and put the chicken on top of them. Sprinkle the dish with chopped parsley on top.
